YASS VALLEY’S FINEST WINES

Yazzbar features a variety of cool climate wines from the Canberra District Winemakers such as Tim Kirk, Bryan Martin and Andrew McEwin, continue to make some of the finest Shiraz, Riesling, Merlot and Sangiovese in the world.

Yazzbar’s own Harvey Walsh with the help of Dennis Hart of Dogtrap Vineyard, contributes in a small way to this winemaking creativity with his warm mulled wine and sangria.

The Yass Regions slow ripening climate sees winemakers continue to develop new and varied ranges, so our wine list is ever changing and rotating to showcase a variety of local wines. If you are interested in a specific wine from our region not on the current list, please contact us.

Twice monthly we hold fun, intimate tastings and pairings showcasing these new local wines, paired with gourmet local produce. For our upcoming tastings, see the link below.

Regions finest wines

WINE FROM THE BAR

All wines can be purchased by the bottle and consumed on the premises. To reduce waste, we open a small range of wines at any one time to sell by the glass – two white wines, two reds, one rosé and one sparkling wine. Wines $50 and over are available by bottle only.

Whisky Selection

Along with our wines, we have a large selection of fine whiskys available, all single malt from Scotland to India, Ireland and all places in between. Feel free to come in and enjoy a whisky as it should be enjoyed, and be sure to keep and eye out for our next Whisky tasting.
